It's official!
kp Ramsdale has been involved with theatre for over 17 years. She originally lived in Madison, Wisconsin and migrated her way West to this wonderful city of Seattle where there is a gold mine of theatre opportunity. She started her experience having seen an Open Circle Theater production of Re-animator. Being an H.P. Lovecraft fan, she fell in love immediately and asked, on closing night, to be part of this quirky, talented and daring theater. OCT welcomed her in 2003 with open arms as their assistant stage manager for Ondine. Since then, she has stage managed, house managed, or been involved in more than 8 shows and the most recent Eat My Shorts festival at Open Circle Theater. In addition to OCT, she has also lent her organizational talents to Seattle Musical Theater for Honk! and Jane Eyre and the Fischer Ensemble where she managed a production that travelled to New York. In her life outside of theatre, she manages change at a global logistics company in an IT department of over 600 here in Seattle for the last 5 years. She is excited to take her experience in the business world and mix it with her love of theater to work as the Managing Director at Open Circle Theater.
